St Croix Falls Autumn Fest Set for Saturday and Sunday October 1st & 2nd 

Enjoy Activities in Two Main Areas - And Several Satellite Locations in Two Cities:

Area one: SCF Public Library Plaza 10 am – 3 pm 

 And 

Area two: Habitat for Humanity up on the hill is the Tiny House Expo 9 am - 6 pm Saturday and 9 am - 2 pm Sunday

Plus many more activities around town all weekend: info (web links below): Shops and restaurants open for lovely visits and falls colors river walks in Taylors Falls & St Croix Falls, Interstate Parks open in TF & SCF, Woolly Day Bicycle Event (Sunday SCF), St Croix River Picnic & Paddle Event (Sunday), Car Show (Saturday TF), Festival Theatre shows (both days SCF), SCRMC Mom & Baby expo (Saturday SCF).

A celebration of the change of season and the natural beauty of the St. Croix Valley with a special emphasis on pollinators and amphibians in honor of the late Randy Korb, wildlife educator and frog guy.

Library Activities will begin at 10:00 & conclude at 2:00. Specific times for some events are indicated, but the majority of activities are on-going/drop-in experiences. 

A casual tribute to Randy Korb will occur around 3:00 pm on the library plaza after festivities are wrapped up. Please invite friends and family who would like to share some of Randy’s memories at this time. 

Library activities to include but not limited to:

• Farmers Market and Art & Craft and Local Business Vendors 

• National Park Service with family activities

• St Croix River Association - booth with interactive activities (watershed/water trivia game, aquatic invasive species samples and perhaps macro-invertebrate display

• Friends of the SCF PL - tent with mini car painting, face painting

• Imagination Playground for kids (giant nerfy-legos)

• SCF Library - Monarch Story Time & craft 10:30 am

• Children’s Comedy Magic Performer 11:00 am

• DJ Woody McBride playing interesting music of all styles from all corners of the world 12 pm – 3 pm

• Gyro & Cheese Curd Food Truck

• Franconia Sculpture Park's "Families makes art workshop" & Installation of the "Wishing Tree" sculpture

• Polk Burnett Bee Keepers Association -- information booth 

Many of these activities are funded by a Navigate Grant written by Franconia Sculpture Park
